Marc Jacobs Re(Marc)Able Foundation: Swatches and Review

I have been using Marc Jacobs Re(Marc)Able foundation from one month now and i'm ready to give you my thoughts about it.
It's a pretty expensive foundation, i know, but I bought it when there was the 20% discount at Sephora. I was so curious to try it because it seemed to be the holy grail foundation of a lot of beauty bloggers and youtubers so i decided to test it myself.

On Marc Jacobs website you read "Instant Results. All-Day Weightless Finish. Beyond Full Coverage. The weight is over: 24-hour full, flawless coverage is yours in an instant with this ultra-lightweight foundation concentrate. This revolutionary oil-free formula contains twice as much pigment as a leading full-coverage foundation, but it is emulsified with groundbreaking ingredients so the smallest amount completely covers with dot-on perfection."

I partially agree: it's a medium to a full coverage foundation, with just une little dot you reach an amazing coverage. That's the most pigmented foundation i have ever tried (and i have tried a lot). It really covers every single redness or discoloration with a tiny little amount of product. But it has some downsides and for sure it doesn't last 24h!!
I really love the packaging! It comes in a heavy frosted glass bottle so sophisticated and classy like every Marc Jacobs product.

Shade: I got the shade "32 Beige Light" under the suggestion of the Sephora shop assistant although i thought it was too dark for me, but here in Italy there are only few shades available and the shade lighter than 32 was "26 Bisque Medium" that was way too light for me. Luckily shade 32 is not too dark and i can make it work blending it well and highlighting the right zones.

Consistency: It is supposed to be smooth and weightless feeling on the skin but not for me!! I feel it so much on my skin (even if i put just a little) that sometimes i can't wait to take it off! It's like it never dries and sets even if i use some powder on top: every time i touch my face i feel it greasy (and i have normal to dry skin)... unfortunately it's not transfer proof.
Application: The applicator is a glass dropper, i find it unhygenic but it helps the application. On the instructions it is recommended to put four dots (forehead, cheeks and chin) and then buff it with a brush (obviously Marc Jacobs recommend his "The Face III" buffing foundation brush, that i don't have) . I tried with the beauty blender but the final effect was too greasy and shiny. I prefer to buff it with Zoeva 124- Grand Stippling Face Brush to reach a flawless and more natural finish. You don't never, ever try to exagerate with the amount of foundation or your face will turn into an olily shiny ball!
Finish: It is supposed to have a matte finish but i think it gives me some glow. It is suggested for people with oily skin but i have normal to dry skin and after a while makes me look shiny so i don't know if it's ideal for those with very oily skin. It also depends on how much product you use, you don't have to exceed. If you put the right amount (four tiny dots) it will work good.

Staying Power: i am so disappointed from the longevity of this foundation. It looks amazing for the first two or three hours and then it starts to fade on the nose and cheeks looking soooo patchy. It's like it melts and starts to look greasy. It also clings to my pores emphasizing them a lot! You can see it from the pictures below....It's awful! Even if i try to fix it with a powder the situation doesn't get any better. It's definetly not so longlasting, even with a primer underneath.
Marc Jacobs Re(Marc)Able foundation After 3 hours and half , you can see my pores starts to appear
Marc Jacobs Re(Marc)Able foundation After 5 hours, you can see my pores extremely visible. (This picture is not for fainthearted)
After 5 hours. From far away is not so bad but you can notice
that the part in direct light is greasy and the pores are visible.

Will i repurchase? I don't think so, it's too expensive for my budget and it doesn't give me the effect i expected. I have i hate love relationship with this foundation, when first applied i love the flawless effect it gives to my skin but after few hours my pores are so visible that i can't wait to remove it.

Bye dears!

NARS Audacious Lipstick in ANNA: Swatches and Review

There is a lipstick that i literally wear almost every single day.
Hello Mr Bunny!..Long time no see!
I'm talking about the NARS Audacious Lipstick in Anna. I received it as Christmast gift from my boyfriend and he ordered it from Nars official website because this shade isn't available at Sephora Italy.
Shade: Anna is a very unique colour. It is described as a "smokey rose". It's a cool-tooned muted, medium dark pink with a semi matte finish. It flatters any skintone and on me is an everyday color that i like to match with different lip liners. I wanted this shade so bad after watching JamiePageBeauty swatch video on youtube (i just love that woman!!)

Formula: The consistency is so creamy and in one swipe you have a great colour payoff. It's extremely confortable like i'm not wearing anything on my lips. It doesn't even emphasize dry patches and for me this is very important because in winter my lips are always dry no matter how many times i scrub them.
NARS "Anna" direct light
Staying power: I had great expectations about the staying power because, from the various reviews i saw on youtube, the Audacious lipsticks seemed to have the best performance ever, but i was a bit disappointed...on me it lasts only three or four hours (without eating or drinking) before starting to fade. Maybe the darkest colors perform better but for now i can't make a comparison. To make it last a bit longer i layer a mauve lip liner underneath: Essence lipliner in "satin mauve" is the perfect match that darken it a bit!

Will i repurchase? I don't think so. From a 30 euros lipstick i was expecting waaaay more. I think the performance of Maybelline Creamy Matte lipsticks is so much better than the Nars Audacious lipsticks. Just to give them another shot maybe i will try a darker shade (like Charlotte or Liv).

Here is the final look with NARS "Anna"
Bye bye dears!

2015 Makeup Favourites

Year 2015 has been my turning point. Makeup has become one of the most important parts of my life (and hopefully job). I started testing lots of different products and learning various techniques for make up applications.
So i'm so happy to share with you my most used and loved makeup products of 2015.

FACE
L'Oreal Infallible 24h-matte Foundation "22 Radiant Beige": i think it's my holy grail foundation of 2015. As it claims it is a complete matte foundation. The consistency is in between thick and liquid, the perfect application is with your fingers and the staying power is amazing. This is the only foundation that completely makes my pores disappear and it never happens with any foundation (even high ends). I always struggle in finding the right shade for my skin tone but this one perfectly matches my complexion. I don't wear it every day but only when know that i will stay out for the whole day. It's also ideal for rainy days because it's practically waterproof and also for hot summer days because it's matte and controls the sweat. Even if i touch my face it doesn't transfer at all. Sometimes i use the L'Oreal Infallible Mattifying Primer before applying the foundation and it makes my skin looks like porcelain.

Max Factor Face Finity All Day Flawless Foundation "Sand": this is another foundation that i love. It works as primer, foundation and concealer all in one. I reached for it almost every day last year. This color suits my complexion even much better than the l'Oreal Infallible 22. The best application is with the Beauty Blender, like that your skin looks really flawless. It's not longlasting as the Infallible one but lasts almost 8 hours on me before starting to fade just a tiny bit on my nose and chin. The finish is matte but not flat, let's say it gives your skin a healthy look.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer "Light/Medium": It's the most high coverage concealer i have ever tried. The best thing i love about it is that it dries and sets perfectly under the eyes without any need to powder, and i hate powdering my face because it always makes my wrinkles stand out. It's also waterproof and has the most long wearing performance of all times. I made a complete review and swatches of it here.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer "Light Warm": the performance of this concealer is similar to the Estee Lauder Double Wear. The differences are that the application of the Naked Skin is better with the Beauty Blender (not a concealer brush) and the feeling on the skin is very lightweight. The only problem is the shade range; i opted for "Light Warm" that is a bit lighter for me but the other shades were way too dark or way too light. I make it work anyway and it really highlight my undereye area. It doesn't crease and doesn't set in the fine lines. It covers my dark circles perfectly and lasts the whole day.

Beauty Blender The Original: this little sponge changed my world. I always used my fingers or a foundation brush to apply any kind of foundation, but now it's another story! The final effect that the Beauty Blender gives to my skin is really flawless. I think i will go on buying it forevah!!

The Balm "Bahama Mama" bronzer: it's my autumn/winter shade. It's perfect for a light contouring because it's matte, cool toned and not orange at all. I put it in the morning and at night it's still there. I think it's a must have.

Too Faced "Chocolate Soleil" bonzer: i have a sample size of it but i think it will last me forever! It's the perfect summer shade for contouring. In winter i feel that it's too dark but on a slightly tanned skin it works perfectly. The chocolate smell of this bronzer is a bonus. Who doesn't like their make up smells like chocolate? I do like it!

Mac Blush "Melba" : It's the only Mac blush i own, i raved about this since Kathleen Lights made me discover it in one of her "beauty favourites" videos, so when i had the chance i bought it without even thinking. It's a matte peachy pink blush, it gives you a natural healthy look and lasts pretty well. I think it flatters every skin tone. It's probably a spring/summer color but i love to use it every time of the year.

Revlon Powder Blush "006 Naughty Nude": The shade of this blush is similar to Mac "Melba". I bought it when i didn't have enough money for "Melba", the only difference is that is not completely matte but has a slight sheen to it. I use it mostly in spring and summer when i want a bit of glow on the cheeks.

The Balm "Mary Loumanizer" Highlighter:  what we can say about this highligher? It's just PERFECTION! It's ideal to have a discrete glow but you can also buld it up to have a super shine (for a disco night, yeah!). I apply it with my Real Techniques contour brush on the upper part of my cheeks, tip of my nose, chin and cupid bow. Sometimes i use it also to highlight the inner corners of my eyes and under the brows. This is the highlighter of my life :-)

EYES
Maybelline Color Tattoo 24h "Creamy Beige":  this has been my everyday base for every look i made. When i am in a hurry i just put it on the lids blending a brown matte shade in the crease, a lot of mascara and i'm ready to go. This is also a perfect shade for a no makeup look or when i want to draw the attention on the lips wearing a bold red or a dark lipstick.

L'Oreal Color Riche Mono Eyeshadow "200 Over the Taupe":  it's a neutral shade not too warm not too cold, a perfect everyday color. I use it all over the lids or in the crease to give depth to the eyes. The pigmentation of  L'Oreal Color Riche eyeshadow is something out of the world, they last forever without fading. I'm planning to get more colors from this range. Absolutely recommended!

Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal "Black": this is the first eyeliner of my life, i have been using it forever. Super creamy, well pigmented and last a really long time. A lot of eyeliners generally transfer on my upper lid but not this one. It lasts until i decide to take my makeup off. I never used it in the waterline but i have heard that it last pretty good as well. I suggest you to try all the color range (that unfortunately i can't find so easly here in Italy)

Too faced Perfect Eyes Waterproof Gel Eyeliner "Perfect Black Orchid": When i don't want to use the black eyeliner i opt for this plum/blue color. It has a sponge on the opposite end that allows you to soften the line or smoke it. It's perfect for hot or wet conditions because it stays put forever.

L'Oreal Telescopic Mascara: The holy grail mascara of all times. Every beauty guru seems to love it and i completely agree. It gives me everything i can ask from a mascara: lenght and definition. Not so sure about the volume but if you built it up you can reach a dramatic effect. I can't ask for more! It's my on the go mascara perfect for every day. The big advantage is that it never, ever clump my lashes.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara: When i have time to dedicate to my lashes i choose this mascara. It can become a bit clumpy if you don't pay attention, i always have to eliminate the eccess with a clean spoolie brush. I wrote a specific article on this mascara here

Nabla Brow Divine "Jupiter":  It's the best brow liner that i found here in Italy. It is very similar to Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow wiz (maybe it's a dupe). It has the perfect small tip that helps me to fill in the gaps of my eyebrows. It's very quick and easy to use. I think i will buy a tons of those eyebrow liners.

L'Oreal Brow Artist Plumper "Medium/Dark": After filling my brows with the liner i fix it with this gel. I have big eyebrows that are always out of control. This gel allows me to make them stay in place the whole day. I have also the clear version but the consistency of the coloured one is better and fix the brows more firmly.

LIPS
Best Purple:
Too Faced Liquified Long Wear Lipstick "Melted Fig": The most flattering color of the year. I know that it was released before 2015 but i discovered it just recently. It lighten up my face even if i have no make up on. You can read the full review here

Best Dark Red:
Maybelline Color Sensational Matte "Divine Wine":  This is the color of my autumn/winter, a brownish burgundy shade. Great formulation, matte finish and super long lasting staying power. You can read about it and see it in action here

Best Red:
L'Oreal Pure Reds "Blake's Red": this is my perfect red! It is completely matte and lasts forever on my lips. I got many compliments on this color and i think it suits every skin and hair color. Not every red lipstick looks good on me but this one is heaven, it makes me feel like Snow White. I started to wear reds the moment i got this shade. Absolutely love it!

Best Nude Pink:
Mac lipstick "Mehr": even though is a matte formula i feel it very confortable on the lips. It's a dirty blue pink shade. Normally i don't like pinks but above every expectation this one is super flattering on me. There is something in this color that compliments my skin so well that makes me feel i have the most beautiful full lips ever. I can't stop using it every day, every night, with every makeup look and with every outfit. I feel it was made for me. The perfect lip liner match for "Mehr" is Rimmel Exaggerate in "Eastend Snob"

Best Gloss:
L'Oreal Shine Caresse Lipcolors: i consider them glosses because they are very shiny. I fell in love with the performance that plumps my lips making them look bigger and fuller. I have almost all the shades but for every day i always reach for "Lolita" for a perfect "MLBB". I also love the shade "Eve" a purple pink that i often put over Mac "Heroine" lipstick to add a bit of a shine.
The longevity of those lipcolors is stunning considering they are like glosses. I can eat or drink and they stay clung to the lips for such a long time. If you want a glossy effect without worrying about reapplying the product every hour you need those lipcolors in your life.

And those were my favourite makeup products of 2015. Hope you enjoyed.

I hope 2016 will be the best year of your lives! :-)

Dark Red Lipsticks: swatches and review

Hello dears,
this time of the year i feel in the mood of dark lips. I have some lipsticks to share with you.

They might look the same colour but from the swatches you can see that they are not

From the lighter to the darker shade:

Maybelline 14h lipstick in "260 Always Plum": it looks darker from the bullet than on the lips and can be a winter everyday shade. It's a muted plum colour with hints of grey and pink undertones. You need two or three coats to reach a full colour. The finish is matt and the staying power is amazing, it stays well for 5 to 7 hours and does not smudge at all. It's a bit drying so you need to scrub and moisturize your lips before the application. The smell is chemical cherry but it's not bothering at all. If you are not too brave to wear deep dark lips that's a good compromise.
Maybelline 14h lipstick in "Always Plum 260"

Diego Dalla Palma Liquid Lipstick "117 Geisha Noir":  That's one of the best liquid lipsticks of all times. The colour is a red with a hint of brown not too dark and very elegant, i think it's super flattering on every skintone. It's has a velvet matt finish, it's extemely confortable on the lips like you are not wearing anything due to the formulation with aloe oil and hyaluronic acid. It doesn't even transfer and on me lasts 8 hours or more, that's pretty impressive. If you eat or drink it fades just a tiny bit in the center of the lips but it's barely noticeable.
Diego Dalla Palma Liquid Lipstick "Geisha Noir 117"

L'Oreal Color Riche Lipstick "392 Tanzania Rubis": How cool is the packaging of this lipstick!! It's a Christmas limited edition and as soon as i saw it i just couldn't resist. It's a deep plum red, quite pigmented and you can choose to do just one swipe for a hint of colour or layer it to reach a full coverage. It has a sheer finish and the staying power is like many other l'Oreal sheer lipsticks so it's around 4 hours without eating or drinking. I have to say that it's very confortable just like a lip balm and that's a big thumbs up but unfortunately there is something about this colour that doesn't convince me 100% so i don't reach for it a lot lately. The good thing is that the application is very easy so when i'm in a hurry i will definetly pick this one without even thinking.
L'Oreal Color Riche Lipstick "392 Tanzania Rubis"

Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lipstick "975 Divine Wine": This lipstick is absolutely one of the best formulation of all times! And the colour is just perfection. It's a brownish burgundy shade or a deep berry red depending on the light. On my skintone it looks pretty brown and dark but it's not the kind of "punch in your face" dark and that's why i love it sooo much. It's very elegant and every time i have it on i feel powerful like i can rule the world!!...sorry for this exaggeration but i suggest you to try it and you will see the effect :-D
Even if it's matt you reach full colour in one swipe and the application is so easy that you don't even need a lip liner. Even if it's matte it's creamy, confortable (as obviously the name suggests) and lasts forever without fading for a long long time, let's say 8 hours!! I'm super impressed!!! It's the lipstick of my dreams but unfortunately in Italy the Maybelline Creamy Matte lipsticks are available only in 5 shades: a nude (too light) a red (that a have and it's stunning), a shocking pink (that i hate) and an extremely bright coral (that it's not flattering on me). If you have the chance to put your hands on these lipsticks in your country go and get them immediatly because they are cheap and have a great quality, even more than a lot of high end lipsticks.
Maybelline Creamy Matte Lipstick "975 Divine Wine"

Wet n Wild Megalast Lip Color in "Cherry Bomb E918D": I have almost all the Megalast lipsicks from Wet n wild and i use them a lot but not this one. I never wore this one since last week and after trying it for the first time my mind went "WOW" Now i have the urge of getting more shades like this one.  From the swatches online it looked brighter than it actually is. On me it's almost a black reddish brown and i am so happy about that! That the darkest shade i own but from now on it will never be alone anymore ("Blackmail" form Urban Decay is waiting for me).
As for the texture it's like all the other colours of the range, it's matte and a bit drying but it's so dark that even if i have dry patches they are not visible at all. The staying power is pretty decent, 5 hours and than it starts to fade in the center of the lips.

And that's it my dears. I hope i gave you some suggestions if you were planning to buy some dark red lipsticks.

Take care! Love you :-*

Estēe Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Concealer

I can't leave without under eye concealers! Even when i go out only to buy some bread or milk i will always put concealer on :-P !
I have dark under-eyes that are very hard to cover so i was always looking for a good concealer that covers them looking natural at the same time. I have tried so many concealers and no one was good for me. For example i hate the the super famous Maybelline Age Rewind concealer, it doesn't cover at all and becomes immediatly cakey. Maybe it works for a 20 years old girl but for a thirtysomething like me is not good at all!

I have to say that i hate fixing concealers with powders because it always emphasizes fine lines so when i found the Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place concealer i immediatly bought it and i was very pleased...it' is the best concealer i've tried so far.
Mr. Bunny doesn't need a concealer...how lucky!
It's high coverage without being cakey, and i don't even need to fix it with the powder (yeeey!!)

Shade: i have it in 02 "Light Medium", it is on the pinkish neutral side perfect to cover my green circles.
Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place concealer "Light Medium"; Left: applied - Right: blended
Application: I have dry under-eyes so i hydrate properly before concealing, but if yours are oily you can skip this passage.
I apply it directy on my undereye with the applicator i then i buff it with the Elf flawless concealer brush. It dries very quickly so i suggest you to do one under-eye and then the other.
You have to be very careful applying only a little amount and buff it quickly because if you exagerate it will look cakey and when it dries out there will be no way to fix it.
I assure you that if you learn to apply it in the right way (it took me almost two weeks to find the best way for me) you will look fresh and awake for the whole day.
Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place "Light Medium" 02
Staying power: It's waterproof and lasts all day without creasing or setting in the fine line.

You can tell how flawless it looks from far away.
Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place; MUFE Ultra HD foundation shade y245
Will i repurchase? Of course! It's my wholy grail concealer, together with the Urban decay naked skin. It's high coverage, waterproof and lasts 12 hours. It's a bit expensive (between 20 and 30 euros) but for what it gives you it worth every penny.

BIG SEPHORA HAUL (Galactic Box)

Hello dears,
for few days with an order on Sephora online you was able to receive the Galaxy Box with some mini sizes of products i always wanted to try. So i decided to take this chance and buy some products.

What i ordered:

Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer in "Light Warm": as almost everyone already knows, the colour range of this concealer sucks. But i was attracted by the texture, the duration and the smooth finish so i decided to give it a try. It's obviously too light for my skin tone but it's amazing for highlighting. It melts into the skin so well...I already love it! I have to test it out and i will write a full review.

Beauty Blender The Original: I wanted the Beauty blender from the moment i started whatching makeup tutorials on youtube but i never thought it would be different from the cheapest fake versions. I was wrong! The consistency of this sponge is completely different from any other i have ever used. Maybe that's why some foundations was so disapointing, i was just using the wrong sponge to apply them. My goal is to try the beauty blender to test every single foundation i own...and then i will let you know.

Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstik in "Melted Fig": i have always been in love with this colour, it's a rosy orchid that i find very flattering for every skin tone. I wore it immediatly after i opened the box and it confirmed my expectations. It's very confortable, easy to apply and the colour is stunning. I will make a review soon.

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation Pump: i have the Nars Sheer Glow Foundation (Deauville Light 4) from a month now and, as many youtubers and blogger, i was very disappointed when i surprinsingly discovered that it had no pump. Fortunately at Sephora here in Italy it costs only 2,50 euros so i told myself: why not?

Sephora Color Lip Last in "Brown is back" it's a matte pinky light brown, definitely my kind of colour for this season, i haven't tried it yet so i will update you in another post. Since it's super matte and dry i think i will put a gloss on top.

With my order there was some samples: Clarins "Eau Dynamizante"; Eau de Parfum Flower by Kenzo; and something i'm very curious to test Guerlain "Orchidée Imperiale-La Creme"

What's in the Galactic Box:
In this big Box there are 11 samples .

Too Faced Born this Way foundation in "Light Beige" 5ml: i already tested this foundation because i had another minisize just like this one, the colour seems to be good for me although a tiny bit darker. I heard so many amazing reviews on this but i don't think it does miracles. I have to test it out using different kind of applicators.

Too Faced Chocolate Soleil 4g: I simply love everything about this bronzer, the packaging, the chocolaty smell, the colour and the staying power. It's really amazing and i think it will replace my beloved "Bahama Mama" by TheBalm.

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara 3g: I finally got it!! I was raving about this mascara from the moment Benefit announced the release. I want to wait trying it because i have to finish the Maybelline Lash Sensational (considered a dupe of the Roller Lash).

Nars Orgasm Liquid Illuminator 8ml: I already tried to put it on my cheeks on top of my foundation but it was invisible. Maybe it works better as a primer.

Burberry Fresh Glow Luminous Fluid Base 5ml: i never owned something by Burberry and i'm so excited to use it. It's supposed to give a natural glow to the skin if applied as a primer under foundation or as highliter over foundation. I can't wait to try it and write a complete review.

Urban Decay Primer Potion The Original 2ml: i don't use primers so often. I tried the Too Faced one and the one from Kiko and the latter has the best performance on my eyelids. I'm very curious.

Estée Lauder Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick 3.5g: i was surprized to find this high end lipstick on the box, at least i consider Estée Lauder high end. I was excited like a little girl. It's the perfect red, and for a woman red lipsticks are never enough! The packaging is very fancy and it deserves a full review by itself.

Hugo Boss Hugo Man Eau de Toilette 5ml: i immediatly give it to my boyfriend. I always loved the scent of this perfume, it was released long time ago and it reminds me of my teenage period...apparently lots of boys used this eau the toilette at the end of the nineties, or maybe the boys i knew :-)

Herborist CC Mask 30g: i'm not sure how to use this mask. I have never heard about this brand and and not so familiar with face masks. It's a pretty good amount of product for being a sample and i will try it for sure, hoping it won't make me have an allergic reaction :-P

Clinique Superdefence Daily Defence SPF20 7ml: the cute little packaging of this cream made me say "awww sooo lovely". Besides that i'm always looking for the perfect moisturizer that works good under any kind of foundation. I have great expectation on this one.

Biotherm Blue Therapy Accelerated Serum: it has a liquid consistency and being a serum it's supposed to go under the moisturizer but normally i don't love to put two products under foundation. Maybe i will try to use it alone or as night treatment.

In the Galactic Box there was also an information sheet with a description of each product. Thank you Sephora.

I could never have bought all those products in full size so i'm so glad Sephora gave us the chance to test out so many things.

Have you ever tried those products? Do you have any suggestion?

Love you :-*

Everyday lipsticks for fall

Hello dears,
almost every woman loves lipsticks but sometimes you get overwhelmed by the variety of colours and different formulations so i choose my five most recent played lipsticks for fall.

Max Factor Colour Elixir Lipstick "745 Burnt Caramel" is a medium brown with rosy undertones. It has a pretty good pigmentation and the finish is in between satin and opaque. It has a very moisturising creamy formula, it feels very lightweight and confortable on the lips. It's a perfect every day color that last on me around 4 hours then it needs a touch up.

Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick "642 Latte Beige" is a brown with some red in it. It's similar to "Burnt Caramel" but darker. I really love Maybelline lipsticks, all of the Color Sensational range have an amazing staying power and feel so confortable on the lips that you don't have to worry about any smearing at all: you put them on and they grab onto the lips without being dry. Every time i know that i will be out for the whole day and i need a discrete colour but still visible i always reach for it. I think that's the perfect colour for autumn.

Left: Max Factor Colour Elixir Lipstick "745 Burnt Caramel"
Right:
Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick "642 Latte Beige"
Kiko Gossamer Emotion Creamy Lipstick n.104 it's a peachy nude, a hint too light for my skin and that's a shame because i really loved the colour when i first swatched it on the store. It's extremely creamy so it's better to wear a lipliner to avoid smearing. This Kiko Gossamer line has a huge variety of colours (darks, nudes, reds and pinks) and it's almost impossible not to find the right shade for everyone, i suggest you to give them a chance and take a look on Kiko website or in the actual stores.

Kiko Unlimited Stylo n.13 Cocoa it's a very longlasting matte lipstick. This colour is so particular that it's hard to describe. I wondered why it was named "Cocoa" but then i get it: from the swatch on my arm and when i firstly apply it on my lips it's rosy mauve while when it dries becomes a mauvy brown. I don't know why but every time i have this lipstick on i feel fabulous :P It's the Kylie Jenner kind of lipstick. The application is very easy because it's creamy and glides perfectly on the lips but after 3 minutes it dries out to a matte finish...i assure you it's super matte. I don't recommend it for those who have dry lips because after few hours makes your lips feel soooo dry. Anyway it's a stunning colour and i suggest you to give it a try since it's a super cheap and affordable lipstick.

L'Oreal Rouge Caresse Lipstick "602 Irresistible Espresso" it's a coffee brown red. It's in between a gloss and a lipstick with a sheer finish. You can build up the colour: with one swipe you have a slight hint of colour but it looks better when swiped three or four times. It's very creamy and confortable but the problem is the staying power, it stays on me four hours (without eating or drinking) and then needs a touch up. I reach for this every time i feel like wearing a dark elegant lipstick but my lips are too dry and need more hydration.

Besides those lipsticks i have some other most played colors for autumn, i'm talking about liquid lipsticks and glosses...so if you are curious i will make a review in my next post.
